Leaks in Salmon Arm
A drip under the sink, a wet spot on the ceiling, or a pipe you can see leaking. Call us and we'll come out.

While you wait
- Find the main shutoff. In many houses it is where the water line comes in: a mechanical room, a crawlspace, or near the meter. Turn it clockwise.
- If the leak is only at one tap, try the small valves under that sink. If they will not turn, leave them and use the main. Forcing a seized valve can snap it.
- Put a bowl or a towel under a slow drip so it does not soak the cabinet.
- A pipe that is wet all over may just be sweating. A leak usually wets one spot and drips from there.
- If water is spraying or spreading across a floor, treat it as an emergency and shut the main off first.
When to call
Call us if water is running where it should not, if a stain keeps growing, or if you cannot find the shutoff. We look at the fitting or the pipe and tell you the price before we start. A drip that can wait until morning is a daytime call.
